This has been a really good Easter break because it afforded me the opportunities to recover from last week’s bout of illness and to visit many different parts of inner Sydney in detail.
Yesterday, my housemate and I went over to Martin Place to participate in a volunteer Easter BBQ for the less well to do people in the city. It was a fine feast, 3 salads to choose from, fresh butter bread rolls, bbq sausages and roast chickens, coffee and tea and Lindt chocolates.
It felt redeeming to not be a consumer especially during the festive seasons and being a contributor instead. Making the festive season a bit better for another human being and exploring the human being in us. Hope this Easter helps you to discover your vocation in each phase in your life.
