The 2009 Economist Intelligence Unit’s cost of living survey reveals that Tokyo (1), Osaka (2) and Singapore (10) ranked among the Top 10 most expensive cities.

Of the top 10 cities I have only visited one – Oslo. I’m not sure I understand why it is so expensive. Yes I found the food expensive – weak dollar being a lot to blame but not completely. It’s a great city though and I would not mind living there. If I could afford it.
