Being Late is Just Poor Form

Lateness is stealthy; lateness creeps up. Even on days that begin with promise and hope. Even when you are fed and showered and still have half an hour before you need to be out the door. All you need do is brush your hair, get caught up listening to a discussion on the radio, throw a load of towels into the washing machine, fix coffee, go through mail from the day before, take a phone call, change your outfit because the first one doesn’t feel quite right for the weather, or flip through a magazine and suddenly you are late. One of life’s mysteries.

Or is it? Being late is just poor form and it reflects badly on the latecomer. This article “Life can be a lag, but the clock is ticking for those failing the punctuality test” discussed the possible causes of this behaviour and how it really reflects on you and others.
